Having been operating for over 10 years in the Tarentaise Valley, Snowbus have become experts at putting together local French transfer companies with skiers looking for a taxi journey from Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon or Chambery airports.

Snowbus run shared transfers from Geneva and Grenoble airport in conjunction with their partners, but for now we will be concentrating on the private taxi side of their business.  Snowbus are able to pair local drivers with excellent knowledge of the area and the mountain driving conditions together with English-speaking office staff who are always ready to answer your questions.  Private transfers are available at any time of the day and between the ‘big four’ airports in the area and all the major ski resorts such as Tignes, Val d’Isere, Les Arcs, Courchevel, La Plagne, Meribel, Val Thorens, and many more.

One of the biggest advantages that Snowbus has is their access to large minibuses and coaches for big groups.  If you have a large family, or 16 skiing friends – you may have found it difficult to find vehicles which will take your whole group together.  The vast majority of transfer companies will tend to run 9-seat vehicles due to there being no additional driving license requirements on them. Therefore for groups over 8 people you will tend to be looking at having to get 2 vehicles and 2 drivers.

Snowbus have partners with 16, 18 & 19 seat mini-coaches who can be hired for a very reasonable price by those lucky enough to be travelling in a large party. Not only does this mean you can all travel together, but it also cuts down on fuel costs and CO2 emissions as well.  Snowbus can even arrange a coach for up to 60 people to travel should you need.
