Grenoble VTC Alpes Mobilité is a Grenoble-based private transfer company specialising in door-to-door transport between Grenoble, Lyon, Geneva, Chambéry and the main ski resorts in the Oisans area (Alpe d’Huez, Les 2 Alpes, Auris, Oz-en-Oisans, Vaujany and more).
We are a small, owner-operated business: the same team that answers your messages is the one driving you and your guests. Our priorities are safety, punctuality, and clear, reliable communication from booking to drop-off.
All transfers are pre-booked at a fixed price and include meet & greet, assistance with luggage, and child seats on request. We stay in direct contact via WhatsApp/SMS before your transfer, so you always know where your driver is and what to expect.
Our English-speaking drivers know the mountain roads and winter conditions well, and we plan ahead on busy changeover days to ensure smooth, on-time arrivals. Whether you are travelling as a family, a couple or a group, our goal is simple: to make your journey from the airport to the resort comfortable, seamless and stress-free—so your holiday starts the moment you step into the vehicle.

These terms apply to the transport service provided under the Grenoble VTC Alpes Mobilité brand and operated by Afranca Services (licensed French private hire / VTC company based in Grenoble, RCS Grenoble 908 707 342).
1. Scope & Booking
All bookings and payments made via Snowcompare.com are processed by Snowcompare under their own booking and payment terms.
The person making the booking must be legally able to contract and is responsible for:
The accuracy of all information provided (flight/train times, passenger numbers, luggage, special requests, addresses, etc.), and
Sharing these Terms & Conditions with all passengers in the group.
We may subcontract the journey to another fully licensed transport company when necessary, under our responsibility.
2. Prices & Inclusions
Unless otherwise stated, our prices:
Are inclusive of taxes (TTC).
Include: vehicle with driver, fuel, motorway tolls, standard parking fees, and professional liability insurance for transported passengers.
Do not include: entrance fees to sites, driver meals, or any service not expressly mentioned in the booking.
Extra services (e.g. baby/child seats, extra stops, special refreshments) may generate an additional charge, which will be communicated and agreed in advance whenever possible.
We reserve the right to update our price list at any time. The applicable price is the one confirmed at the time of booking.
3. Vehicles, Capacity & Luggage
The maximum number of passengers cannot exceed the legal capacity of the vehicle used (including the driver). For our minivans, this is 8 passengers.
Transfer prices are based on the assumption that each passenger travels with one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage.
Ski and snowboard equipment is carried at no extra charge, but must be specified when booking so we can plan the appropriate vehicle and loading.
All luggage must fit safely within the boot and legal load limits of the vehicle. For safety reasons, the driver may refuse:
Excessively heavy or bulky items, or
Items that cannot be safely stowed.
We cannot be held responsible for loss, theft or damage to passengers’ personal belongings during the journey.
Child seats & boosters: Provided on request – please request when booking and specify children’s ages. Provision is subject to availability.
4. Passenger Behaviour, Safety, Smoking & Alcohol
All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times, in the front and rear seats. Failure to do so may release us from liability in the event of an accident.
All vehicles are strictly non-smoking. Any breach may result in a fixed cleaning/decontamination charge of €250 incl. VAT.
Unless expressly authorised in writing, the consumption of alcohol is not permitted on board.
The driver (and the operator) may refuse to carry any passenger who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behaviour is considered dangerous, abusive or inappropriate, without refund or alternative transport being due.
5. Route, Stops & Pets
The route is at the driver’s discretion, taking into account safety, traffic and road conditions. In case of road closures, heavy traffic or incidents, the driver may change the itinerary without prior notice and without price increase.
One short courtesy stop of up to 10 minutes may be allowed free of charge, subject to the schedule. Additional or longer stops must be agreed with the driver and may be billed as extra time.
Small pets (up to approx. 6 kg) in a suitable closed container may be accepted only if agreed in advance at the time of booking and within vehicle capacity. Otherwise, animals are not accepted on board.
6. Waiting Time, Delays & No-show
We understand that delays can happen, especially at airports. We do our best to adapt within the limits of our schedule.
Included waiting time
Airport pick-ups (flight arrivals): up to 45 minutes waiting time after the scheduled or updated landing time is included in the price.
Train stations / accommodation / other addresses: up to 15 minutes waiting time after the scheduled pick-up time is included.
Waiting chargesIf the passenger is not present at the meeting point within the included waiting time and the driver is able to wait longer, additional waiting will be billed at:
€60 incl. VAT per hour, calculated in 15-minute increments (i.e. €15 incl. VAT per 15 minutes).Any period started is due.
Flight & train delaysIn case of flight or train delay, it is the customer’s responsibility to inform us or the driver as soon as possible using the contact details on the booking confirmation.
If the delay is significant and the driver cannot wait without impacting other bookings:
We will do our best to propose an alternative pick-up time or vehicle,
Any extra cost for rearranging the service will be communicated and must be accepted before confirmation.
No-showIf the passenger cannot be found at the meeting point and cannot be contacted within:
45 minutes (airport), or
15 minutes (other pick-up points),the situation will be treated as a no-show.
In case of no-show, 100% of the transfer price is due and no refund is payable.
7. Changes & Cancellations
All requests for changes or cancellations must be made via Snowcompare.com using the tools and contact details provided in the booking confirmation. Snowcompare may apply its own admin fees in case of refund, in addition to our policy below.
7.1 Changes (Amendments)
Any change in travel details (date, time, flight number, number of passengers, pick-up or drop-off address, luggage, etc.) is subject to availability.
Up to 72 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, we will do our best to accommodate changes without extra charge where the service remains similar.
Changes made less than 72 hours before pick-up may be treated as a cancellation and new booking, and may therefore generate cancellation fees and/or fare differences.
If the modification results in a longer route, longer duration or larger vehicle, any price difference will be communicated and must be accepted by the customer before confirmation.
7.2 Cancellations & Refunds
To find a balance between flexibility for the customer and protection of our drivers and vehicles, we apply the following cancellation policy for confirmed services:
More than 72 hours before the scheduled pick-up time: full refund of the transfer price (excluding any admin fees charged by Snowcompare).
Between 72 hours and 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time: 50% of the total transfer price is due.
Less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, and in case of no-show: 100% of the total transfer price is due.
Where a refund is due, it will be processed according to Snowcompare’s procedures and may be subject to their own admin fees and timelines.
8. Liability & Insurance
We operate as a licensed passenger transport service with professional drivers and comply with applicable French regulations for VTC / private hire and small passenger transport.
We hold professional civil liability insurance covering the transport of passengers for hire.
Our responsibility covers passengers from the moment they enter the vehicle until they exit, excluding:
Damage caused by the passenger’s own fault or inappropriate behaviour,
Non-respect of safety instructions (e.g. not wearing seatbelts), or
Events considered force majeure (see below).
In all circumstances, our financial liability in relation to a specific transfer is limited to the total amount paid for that transfer.
9. Force Majeure
We cannot be held responsible for delays, partial performance or non-performance of a journey when caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Extreme weather conditions, natural disasters,
Major traffic incidents, road closures, official diversions,
Strikes, demonstrations, police operations, border controls,
War, terrorism, serious civil unrest,
Decisions by authorities impacting the journey.
In such cases, no compensation is due. We will always do our best to propose the safest and most reasonable alternative under the circumstances.
10. Data Protection
We collect and process only the personal data necessary to organise and operate your transfer (names, contact details, travel details, etc.).
Data may be shared with subcontracted drivers strictly for the performance of your journey.
In accordance with applicable data protection laws, you have a right of access, rectification, opposition and erasure of your personal data.
Requests can be sent to: [email protected]
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
