Cool Runnings are a dynamic and growing transfer company based in Val Thorens, the Three Valleys, France. 

We offer the personal touch and genuinely care about each and every client. We provide friendly, professional, high quality and well-priced private airport transfers. Our vehicles are clean, comfortable, well-maintained and well-equipped.

Our drivers are carefully selected for their friendly, courteous and professional approach. They have all been trained in advanced Alpine driving conditions and have passed the obligatory medical examination required for driving fare-paying passengers in France.

Cool Runnings fleet of vehicles consists of highly maintained VW Caravelle minibuses with passenger-controlled automatic climate control. All vehicles have ample space for luggage as well as skis & snowboards to ensure you travel in comfort. We are also child friendly and will provide baby and booster seats on request.

We are fully licensed and insured with the relevant authorities in France and Switzerland.

Terms & Conditions

For the purposes of this document, any mention of a ‘company’, ‘partner’ or ‘ supplier’ relates to COOL RUNNINGS AIRPORT TRANSFERS operating with registered transport license number 2018/84/0003123.

The term customer or passenger specifies any person or group of persons who has paid to travel with this Snowcompare partner. The ‘journey’ relates to the specific travel arrangements stated on the booking confirmation paperwork.

By placing a booking you are agreeing to be legally bound by these terms and conditions.

 

Our Covid policies & government regulations will consist of but not limited to:

We will be offering full refunds if the resorts are subject to Covid government closures. (These will not be just simple quarantine measures)

Any transfer cancelled will need to be made in writing 2 weeks in advance of the first journey.

We will be offering free date and time changes, subject to availability, up to 48hrs in advance of transfers.

All refunds and changes to transfers will be subject to a €30.00 admin fee

Vehicle hygiene

All vehicles will have a disinfectant fogger placed in them between clients

All doors and handles etc will be wiped and cleaned with disinfecting wipes

As always, all our vehicles will be kept extremely clean, with windows and all surfaces wiped down after every journey

Passengers (at this moment in time) will need to wear a facemask. This is along with our drivers who will also be temperature checked every day of their transfers. Masks will be available to buy in vehicles

All clients will be asked to use hand gel before entering the vehicle which will be provided & available for free

 

Customers must check the details of their travel arrangements at the time of booking.

Any amendments to the booked journey details will be at the discretion of the supplier’s management. Requested changes should be made by email or phone using the transfer company contact details on the booking confirmation. Agreed amendments may carry an administration charge to be agreed beforehand. Any additional payments or refunds will be processed between the company and the customer directly.

Transfer bookings are paid in full at the time of booking and are confirmed and entered on the supplier’s schedule. All cancellation requests by the customer are at the discretion of the supplier’s  management. Cancellation requests for a confirmed booking should be made by email or phone using the company contact details on the booking confirmation

 

The company’s cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancellations made at least 15 days before the travel date will given a full refund minus a 30€ admin fee.

No refund will be given if a cancellation is made less than 15 days before the date of travel, unless specifically agreed, in writing, by company management.

 

In the case of flight delays, cancellations, or diversions it is your responsibility to contact the company using the details provided at the time of booking (or in subsequent communications).

 

When dealing with changes to pre-booked travel the policy of this company is as follows:

Drivers will wait 90 minutes from your original landing time at no extra charge. After this time there will be a charge of 25€ per hour to cover driver and parking costs (to be paid to the driver upon arrival).

If the flight delay is over 90 minutes then the driver may have to depart to fulfil other booked transfers. Everything possible will be done to make alternative arrangements to pick the customer up - any additional costs will be specified at the time and are payable directly to the company.

 

Damage to company vehicles or equipment by passengers will be charged at the discretion of the driver and management. Failure to pay any charges can result in the termination of your current journey, or of the return leg of the journey with no refund offered.

All customer luggage is transported at their own risk

Passengers under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused travel. No refund or alternative travel arrangements will be offered in these situations.

In accordance with force majeure, Snowcompare & our partner cannot be held responsible and are not liable for a delayed or incomplete journey due to unforeseeable circumstances out of their control. These include, but are not limited to,

Traffic accidents & associated delays, protests, demonstrations & organised disruptions, police operations, road hazards, the act of a government or other national or local authority, border control stops, industrial dispute, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions.
