By completing the booking, you agree with and accept our terms and conditions.
Additionally, you confirm that you are over the age of 18 years old and have the legal authority necessary to accept these terms, and that you have read and understood them.
Passenger transportation is directly carried out by a licensed transport company SIA V-CAB (Supplier). These terms and conditions apply to any booking made with Supplier's Company by any way and are as follows:
Booking on the V-CAB Transfer platform
The client who filled out the booking form is the purchaser of the services from Supplier V-CAB Transfer.
The client is responsible for the information provided when filling out the booking form and accepts the booking terms on behalf of each member of the group (if multiple passengers). Please note that all children are considered passengers regardless of age, therefore they must be included in the number of passengers specified at the time of booking.
If the Client provided incorrect information in the booking form or wants to change the booking conditions, he or she must notify V-CAB Transfer immediately in writing by email. If the transfer booking has already been confirmed, changing the date or time of the booking may result in the cancellation of the original booking and the cancellation policy of V-CAB Transfer will apply (see Cancellation). The client may need to make a new booking with the correct time and date along with the payment of the applicable fee.
Terms of Service are provided to you at the confirmation of your booking.
Payment is required after completing the booking form.
After confirming the payment and accepting the debit/credit card, the Client will be issued a Receipt and booking confirmation via email.
The booking confirmation is a confirmation of the purchase of the service from Supplier through the V-CAB Transfer platform.
Supplier reserves the right to reject any order . The Company will notify the Client by email and will issue a full refund within 12 hours after the email is sent.
The supplier limits the amount of luggage to one full size suitcase (no more than 70/40/20 cm) and one piece of hand luggage per person. Any oversized baggage (suitcases, skis, snowboards, boxes, strollers, etc.) must be declared at the time of booking. Ski or snowboard bags must not exceed 190 cm in length. If we can accommodate additional luggage, this will be indicated in the booking confirmation email.
The supplier reserves the right to charge an additional fee for oversized baggage or refuse to carry the items. Failure to provide information about the additional baggage may result in denial of carriage without refund paid transfer fee.
At the time of the scheduled transfer, the driver will be waiting for Client at the agreed to place and at the agreed to time according to the information of the confirmed booking. Free waiting time is 60 minutes for the Airport, 30 minutes for the Train Station and 15 minutes for all other places, after which the Client will be considered Late. In this case, no refund is possible, but depending on availability, additional waiting is possible at the price of 60 euros/hour.
In case of a delay, Client must contact the driver by phone (the phone number will be sent to the client's email 24 hours before the start of the scheduled transfer in the form of a reminder of the planned transfer) as soon as Client learns about the delay. We will always do our best to deliver Client to the destination and change the transfer, but it all depends on the availability of our cars and vans. The Supplier uses only its own routes. Any change in the route by the driver at the request of the Client is possible only by agreement with the dispatcher, which may lead to additional costs for the Client.
Child seats and boosters are provided free of charge upon request during booking. According to EC Directive 2003/20/EC, all children must use child seats up to 12 years of age or up to a height of 135 cm.
During the transfer, smoking alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
Supplier reserves the right and authorizes the driver to refuse transportation to any person who is under the influence of alcohol or under the influence of drugs or whose behavior is considered dangerous or unpredictable for the driver of the vehicle or other passengers.
A client who has soiled the interior of the van MUST pay a fee on the spot in the amount of
100 euros to cover the cost of cleaning. The Cleaning Penalty is to be paid to the driver immediately. If the fine is not paid Supplier reserves the right to refuse to continue the transfer.
Client has the right to cancel a confirmed booking by notifying Supplier by email. Cancellation confirmation will also be sent by email. Cancellation must be made by more than 48 hours before the start of the scheduled transfer (pick up).
Refunds are made under the following conditions:
A full refund (100%) is made if the cancellation is confirmed no later than 144 hours (6 days) before the scheduled start of the transfer. In this case, an administrative fee of 30 euros is deducted to cover administrative and banking costs.
When canceling a confirmed booking no later than 48 hours (2 days) before the scheduled start of the transfer, a refund will be 50% of the cost of the transfer. All refunds are made within 14 days from the date of a confirmed cancellation.
Supplier reserves the right to cancel any confirmed booking at any time if it considers that it cannot properly provide the service, and then the full cost of the transfer will be refunded.
Limitation of Liability
Supplier will use its best efforts to ensure timely arrival of the vehicle and that Client reaches the destination on time.
The passenger transportation service provider does not bear any responsibility for the expenses incurred or losses of Client, if the circumstances beyond SupplierÃ¢??s control hinder the performance of this duty.
Such circumstances include:
Unforeseen delay due to traffic
Incidents that lead to being late
Extreme or bad meteorological conditions
The vehicle is detained by the police or a member of public authority
Compliance with police orders
Third party actions
Vandalism and terrorism
Problems created by another Client
Death and accidents on road
Road blocking due to strikes, holidays
Objects that are not available for the type of service booked
Other circumstances beyond the control of the Supplier.
If Supplier, for any reason under its responsibility, will not be able to deliver the Client to the confirmed destination, in this case Supplier will provide alternative transportation (Taxi, other bus, train etc.). Any reimbursement by Supplier of the cost of an alternative transport should not exceed the cost of travel to the destination Client paid to Supplier.
Changes to contractual terms
V-CAB Transfer may change these terms and conditions from time to time. The Terms governing the purchase of a transfer are those valid at the time of payment for the booking.
