GSM Transfers are based in Meribel, established in 2016. We are British owned and French registered. With French Transport licence number 2016/82/0001146.

We serve the resorts of the Meribel Valley, La Tania and all resorts within the Courchevel Valley, from Lyon, Grenoble, Geneva & Chambery Airports, City centre & airport hotels and rail stations

Our pricing structure is simple all resorts are priced at the same level.

Our ethos is to provide an efficient, punctual, cost effective, realiable and professional private airport transfer service direct to Meribel, La Tania & Courchevel from the local airports and rail stations.

Our drivers are all British and have extensive knowledge of the local area and road network from each of the local airports, including knowledge of alternative routes which we will use during periods of high traffic volume.

All drivers are fully qualified with driver CPC qualifications and are mature, polite and well presented.

We are permanent residents in Meribel and between the two owners and our two full time drivers we have combined alpine winter driving experience of well over 30 years.

We operate two (2016) 4-motion VW Caravelles, one 2wd Caravelle (2015) and a for groups of 1-3 passengers a Mercedes SUV. All our vehicles are fully insured, licensed and well maintained.

Professional and friendly service. Was fully booked at time of booking, so Snowcompare notified one of its partner companies who agreed to do the transfer. Throughout, SnowCompare were very communicative and efficient on securing the booking, and at the same price! Confirmed date and time beforehand, destination confirmed at pick up, arrived with plenty of time. Would highly recommend. They go above and beyond.

Terms & Conditions

For the purposes of this document, any mention of a ‘company’, ‘partner’ or ‘ supplier’ relates to GSM TRANSFERS operating with registered transport license number 2016/82/0001146.

The term customer or passenger specifies any person or group of persons who has paid to travel with this Snowcompare partner. The ‘journey’ relates to the specific travel arrangements stated on the booking confirmation paperwork.

By placing a booking you are agreeing to be legally bound by these terms and conditions

Customers must check the details of their travel arrangements at the time of booking.

Any amendments to the booked journey details will be at the discretion of the supplier’s management. Requested changes should be made by email or phone using the transfer company contact details on the booking confirmation. Agreed amendments may carry an administration charge to be agreed beforehand. Any additional payments or refunds will be processed between the company and the customer directly.

Transfer bookings are paid in full at the time of booking and are confirmed and entered on the supplier’s schedule. All cancellation requests by the customer are at the discretion of the supplier’s  management. Cancellation requests for a confirmed booking should be made by email or phone using the company contact details on the booking confirmation

 

The company’s cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancellations made up to 4 weeks before the travel date will given a full refund minus a 50€ admin fee.

Cancellations made between 4 weeks and 2 days before the date of travel will be given a 50% refund.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the date of travel will be charged in full with no refund offered.

No refund will be given if a cancellation is made less than 15 days before the date of travel, unless specifically agreed, in writing, by company management.

In the case of flight delays, cancellations, or diversions it is your responsibility to contact the company using the details provided at the time of booking (or in subsequent communications).

 

When dealing with changes to pre-booked travel the policy of this company is as follows:

In the case of delayed flights drivers can wait for up to 2 hours from the originally scheduled flight arrival time free of charge. Any waiting time above this will be charged at 50€ per hour to cover costs. Any delay over 3 hours may be treated as a cancellation/no-show booking. 

If the flight delay is significant then the driver may have to depart to fulfil other booked transfers. Everything possible will be done to make alternative arrangements to pick the customer up - any additional costs will be specified at the time and are payable directly to the company.

 

Damage to company vehicles or equipment by passengers will be charged at the discretion of the driver and management. Failure to pay any charges can result in the termination of your current journey, or of the return leg of the journey with no refund offered.

All customer luggage is transported at their own risk

Passengers under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused travel. No refund or alternative travel arrangements will be offered in these situations.

In accordance with force majeure, Snowcompare & our partner cannot be held responsible and are not liable for a delayed or incomplete journey due to unforeseeable circumstances out of their control. These include, but are not limited to,

Traffic accidents & associated delays, protests, demonstrations & organised disruptions, police operations, road hazards, the act of a government or other national or local authority, border control stops, industrial dispute, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions.
